Welcome! I'm Cassia Jones, and I'm thrilled to be with you on this life-changing journey.
First, I want to express my gratitude for you being here. In our busy lives, it's easy to feel overwhelmed and disconnected. But here, in this space, you and I are going to explore the beauty of slowing down, embracing intentionality, and finding joy in the present moment.
Before we dive into the heart of this series, let me share a little about myself and why I'm so passionate about living intentionally.
For many years, I was caught in the whirlwind of a busy life. Work, family, commitments—I'm sure you can relate. No matter how much I did, it felt like there was always more to do, and I was missing out on the simple joys of life.
But then, I discovered concepts rooted in slow living, minimalism, and intentionality. Suddenly, it wasn't about doing less; it was about doing things differently. It was about savoring the taste of a home-cooked meal, feeling the warmth of a morning cup of coffee, and finding peace in the stillness of a quiet moment.
Slow Living Changed My Life
This first pivotal moment of change for me was learning about slow living. It changed my life, and I believe it can transform yours too. It's not about drastic changes; it's about small, intentional steps that lead to a more fulfilling and meaningful life over time.
I’ve been living this incredible lifestyle for the last four years and have consumed tons of information from others who are on this journey. Through my research I have amassed a lot of information and practical experience to share with you.
I’ve also been working in Information Technology my entire adult life, and bring principles and frameworks like agile, systems thinking, and project management into the mix. Living a slower, more intentional life doesn’t mean living on the prairie milking cows (although it could if that’s what floats your boat). That’s the great thing about this lifestyle and this way of life, it will become what works best for you.

In the Slow Living Starter Kit, we'll explore the core principles of slow living, intentional living, and more. We’ll dispel common myths, and I will provide you with practical tools and techniques to bring more mindfulness and intentionality into your daily life.
We'll talk about mindfulness, time management, self-care, and so much more. It's a holistic approach to living a life that aligns with your values. Keep in mind, you didn’t reach this point of overwhelm in a few days. It’s been a long time in the making. So, you’re not going to magically have your ideal life in a few days. It’s going to take some thoughtfulness and engagement and time. But if you stick with it, and stick with me, you’ll get there.
